We are constantly told by our Government and the media that it is only a matter of time before we are hit again by terrorists as on 9-11-2001. We Believe them ! The Terrorists In ancient times, Christians, Jews and Muslims lived and worked side by side in peace and harmony. Sometime around the 7th century, the interpretation of the Islamic book, the Koran, changed. Christians and Jews were deemed unworthy and unclean, later to be called the Infidels, people unfit to go to heaven. Islam who did not convert to Islam were put to death, expelled or relegated to the lowest standing in society. Today, the radical element of fundamental Islam still holds these beliefs. Their religious intolerance leads them to a hatred of Christians and Jews. Islamic terrorists see Jews as unlawfully occupying their lands in the Middle East. Islamic terrorists see Christians, especially Americans, as an invading army, and enemy of evil proportions. The Islamic fundamentalist believes they are fighting the final Holy War, no only to free the Middle East from Western influence, but to convert the world to their religious ideology by any means possible. Evidence show that these terrorists may even obtain nuclear weapons, a terrifying concern. One thing for certain: anyone willing to blow themselves up for their cause must be taken very seriously. |
| Our Concern While our military is absolutely the best in the world, we are not convinced our government understands how dedicated the terrorists are to destroying us. Example: when they capture our people, we are tortured, beheaded, our bodies burned and dragged through the streets to be spit on and kicked. On the other hand, we treat our captives with humanity, giving medical aid, shelter, and nourishment, a copy of their Koran and a prayer rug. This action is viewed as weakness on our part. They are convinced of their eventual victory through their submission. They could be right. Do we have the resolve to stop them? |
| Our Solution We can not believe God blessed us with the greatest country in the history of the world only to have it destroyed by the mental illness of Islamic terrorists. We support our government and its laws. But the government must realize what they are dealing with and act accordingly. Islamic terrorists hate us and want only our death. We must not show weakness. We must not show compassion, even if it is against our nature, toward these terrorists. In the terrorist world, strength is all they understand. If we show them we have the resolve to make them pay dearly for their actions, they will not attack us again. If we continue on our present course of appeasement, we are doomed. |
